Philosophy

My name is Dylan Brock and I’ve been a guitar teacher and a professional guitarist for over twenty years. I am currently playing lead guitar, banjo, mandolin and ukulele with the San Francisco band Luce and I am endorsed by Gibson guitars, Mesa Boogie amps and the music software RiffMaster Pro.  When I’m not teaching or playing guitar you can find me teaching in various schools in San Francisco.

My teaching method has developed by mixing classroom techniques with one on one guitar teaching methods. My hope with this web site is that I can share my ideology, practice methods, PDF files of my lessons, student performances, instructional videos and insight to learning the guitar, banjo and ukulele.
